A new wave of technological revolution is reshaping the global landscape of scientific research. The profound integration of artificial intelligence with basic sciences—especially mathematics and statistics—has defined the most transformative frontier of modern scientific development.


At this pivotal moment of disciplinary upgrading and strategic transformation, our faculty is committed to reshaping the modern mathematics disciplinary system centered on AI-enabled interdisciplinary innovation. We sustain rigorous scholarship in fundamental mathematics and further elevate the core role of applied mathematics in complex data analysis, intelligent system modeling, scientific prediction, risk assessment, and real-world problem-solving across disciplines and industries. By breaking traditional disciplinary boundaries, we foster a vibrant academic ecosystem characterized by solid mathematical grounding, intelligent empowerment, interdisciplinary synergy, and frontier-oriented research.


Through innovative talent cultivation frameworks, restructured research mechanisms, and refined academic evaluation systems, we aim to nurture outstanding interdisciplinary talents who possess rigorous mathematical literacy and cutting-edge innovation capabilities in intelligent science. We endeavor to advance mathematical research beyond classical theoretical exploration toward solving major scientific challenges and serving national strategic demands.
